When I first started training, I couldn’t run 2 miles without walking. I had never run more than 2 miles in my life.
12 weeks later, I ran 13.1 without stopping.
If you want to accomplish something, start wherever you are at.
It’s ok if it’s a small, unimpressive, perhaps embarrassing place that is nowhere near your goal.
Just start, and keep moving forward.
If you want to lose 30 pounds, start by losing 1.
If you want to be more vulnerable, start by being vulnerable with one person.
If you want to run a half marathon, start by running 2 miles with a whole lot of walking.
And then keep. moving. forward.
Run a few steps more each day. Eat a little bit healthier each meal. Get a little deeper each conversation.
It doesn’t matter where you start. Just start.
